Bellevue police said they're investigating a case of widespread graffiti.
Officers said the same symbol has shown up on private property in nine different locations around town. Authorities are working to determine whether it's gang-related.
Chief John Stacey said it's rare to see this much graffiti over such a widespread area.
He said it could take thousands of dollars to clean it all up.
Those responsible could face felony charges of destruction of property, police said.
